Three Flowers . . .
This is the apple blossom. Let me tell you, the yellow dots with a #1 tip, very hard! :)
This is a primrose . . .
And this is the famous Wilton Rose . . .
And I am so thankful for my instructor Mary. The poor woman, I bombard her with questions, but she always has an answer or suggestion . . . I love it! She completely goes above and beyond what the course calls for, I am so thankful for her!
They look great!!! How was working with the royal icing? Comparable to buttercream? I attempted by first gumpaste roses...I definitely need to take the class. I mean, they look nice...but not necessarily like roses, just a random flower.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm not a 100% sold on it, its a bit grainier than buttercream and it dries very quickly. I think maybe I need more practice!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, gumpaste is hard without physically being shown how to do it, imo. That might be a class worth taking! :)
